In August, 2005, 11 remains of productions
rooms for white ceramics at the age of 16thcentury
were found at Yongyeon-ri, Mun-gyeong-eup,
Mun-gyeong-si with almost perfect sites
of supplying water and water management
system.
Specially white ceramics made at the site
were as beautiful as white ceramics made
at the official ceramic production rooms
in Icheon and Gwangju, as proving Mug-gyeong
is the mecca of traditional white ceramics.
3 productions rooms in the perfect conditions
will be moved and restored at Mun-gyeong
Exhibition Center for Ceramic Wares to open
to the public.
